Other Books

A book is a number of pieces of paper, usually with words printed on them, which are fastened together and fixed inside a cover of stronger paper or cardboard. Other books contain information, stories, or poetry, for example. As an intellectual object, an other book is prototypically a composition of such great length that it takes a considerable investment of time to compose and a still considerable, though not so extensive, investment of time to read. This sense of book has a restricted and an unrestricted sense.

In the restricted sense, a book is a self-sufficient section or part of a longer composition, a usage that reflects the fact that, in antiquity, long works had to be written on several scrolls, and each scroll had to be identified by the book it contained. So, for instance, each part of Physics is called a book. In the unrestricted sense, a book is the compositional whole of which such sections, whether called books or chapters or parts, are parts.

Statues

statue is a free-standing sculpture in which the realistic, full-length figures of persons or animals or non-representational forms are carved in a durable material like wood, metal, or stone. Statues have been produced in many cultures from prehistory to the present; the oldest known statue dating to about 30,000 years ago. Statues represent many different people and animals, real and mythical. Many statues are placed in public places as public art. The oldest statue of a deity in Rome was the bronze statue of Ceres in 485 BC. The oldest statue in Rome is now the statue of Diana on the Aventine.

Dhokra Craft

Dhokra Craftsis the earliest known method of non-ferrous metal casting known to human civilization. The name Dhokra was initially used to indicate a group of nomadic craftsmen, and is now generically applied to a variety of beautifully shaped and decorated brassware products created by the lost wax process. Dhokra Damar tribes are traditional of WestBengal and Odisha. Their technique of lost wax casting is named after their tribe, hence Dhokra metal casting.

The tribe extends from Jharkhand to West Bengal and Orissa; members are distant cousins of the Chhattisgarh Dhokras. A few hundred years ago, the Dhokras of Central and Eastern India traveled south as far as Kerala and north as far as Rajasthan and hence are now found all over India. Dhokra, or Dokra, craft from Dwariapur, West Bengal, is popular.

BRASS BRONZE UTENSILS

Brass is the product of copper and varying levels of zinc, a higher percentage of zinc will result in a stronger, more ductile brass. Phosphor bronze is the product of copper, tin, and phosphorus. While brass is hailed for its malleability, phosphor bronze yields a greater hardness. Brass Bronze Materials resists corrosion and metal fatigue more than steel and is also a better conductor of heat and electricity than most steels.

The composition of both alloys depends on the particular use. For instance, Cartridge brass contained 30% zinc and was used to make cartridges for firearms. Eating utensils like cookware, tableware and flatware are made from a variety of materials: wood, china, glass, horn, bone and various materials. Commonly use metals include stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, brass and bronze. All of these metals are safe for cooking and eating use, though copper, brass and bronze require careful use and are best avoided in certain situations.

In order to effectively create exams and quizzes, it is important to establish and understand the learning objectives that are being measured. There are also many online quizzes. The results of online quizzes are generally to be taken lightly, as they do not often reflect the true personality or relationship. However, they may occasion reflection on the subject of the quiz and provide a springboard for a person to explore his or her emotions, beliefs, or actions.
